how it works

/how-it-works

How trades get into AQREVI, what happens to them next, and why you won't have to fill this journal in by hand.

$ connect the account — the journal fills itself

Sound familiar

The journal stops on the day the drawdown starts.

While the account grows, you log every trade. Then the entries thin out, and one day they stop. That day almost always lines up with the start of a drawdown. Those were the weeks worth reviewing, and they are the ones with no data.

The same week

Reviewing the good months changes nothing. What needs changing happened in these.

You have tried this

Three ways to keep a journal. One reason to quit.

A spreadsheet, Notion and a screenshots folder work while you have time to fill them in. In a bad week you don't.

1The spreadsheet

Lasted until the first busy week

Forty rows you reconcile by hand against the prop firm dashboard and the broker statement. Three sources, and the numbers never match.

2Notion

Lasted while the template was more fun than the trades

A week goes into databases and relations, then every visit opens on a backlog of empty entries. Notion can't turn them into a win rate per setup.

3The screenshots folder

Lasted while you could still scroll through it

A screenshot shows one trade. A folder can't tell you how much you lose after 9 pm or on the second entry of the day.

Discipline was never the problem. All three needed you to type the trades in.

In AQREVI the trades arrive by themselves.

MT5 connects with the investor password, cTrader and TradeLocker with an account sign-in, Interactive Brokers with a Flex report. The journal fills itself every day, the bad days included. Other platforms come in through plugins or a file import.

Read-only access

An investor password reads the account and nothing else. It can't open, close or modify a trade.

Plugins for terminals

MetaTrader 4 and 5, NinjaTrader, ATAS, Quantower and MotiveWave send trades on their own. You install the plugin once, with steps written for each platform.

A file where there is no link

Tradovate, Rithmic, Binance and others come in as a CSV export. Common formats have presets; anything else goes through column mapping.

Why in one place

One set of trades. Every answer.

A trade enters AQREVI once. The journal, the analytics, the prop guard and the copier all read that same record, so their numbers match.

Your trades

Synced or imported once. A separate database for your account.

Journal

A daily journal shaped to how you trade, a P&L calendar, a weekly plan with theses, a setup playbook, notes.

Analytics

Your own boards from 69 widgets, 37 ready metrics and metrics you describe in plain words. Every number opens down to the trades.

Prop guard

Over 130 programs with rules by phase, intraday and end-of-day trailing drawdown, a check before entry and a review of blown accounts.

Copier

A copy map between your own accounts: multipliers, filters, limits. Simulation and a run on history first, live mode after.

Ask any section and the answer comes from the same rows. That is why the numbers agree.

The AI works in two layers: a fast model picks and checks, the review model explains. The engine always does the maths; the model never makes up a number.

AQREVI

The numbers are already yours. This just reads them.

Free with no card and no end date. A paid plan makes sense once you need sync, the market, agents or the live copier.
